Family Support

Supporting Families Through the Transition

When a loved one is preparing to serve time, the family often carries just as much stress, fear, and uncertainty. At Navigate Prison, we recognize that incarceration affects more than the individual — it impacts spouses, children, parents, and close friends. That’s why we offer dedicated family-focused services and resources designed to prepare, support, and empower those who stand beside their loved ones.

Our Family-Focused Services

Family Module (Included in Readiness 3-Pack)

A session dedicated to preparing family members for what to expect, how to communicate effectively, and how to maintain healthy boundaries. We’ll also discuss what the incarcerated loved one may experience emotionally and how families can support without burning out.

A guided conversation (within 24–72 hours after surrender) to help families process the transition, answer immediate questions, and reduce uncertainty during the first critical days.

Ongoing direct messaging support for family members for 30 days, offering guidance on questions as they arise. Families never have to feel alone in navigating updates, emotions, or next steps.

A custom roadmap for keeping in touch with an incarcerated loved one, including approved communication methods, visitation guidance, and strategies to maintain connection while respecting facility rules.
